Questions

Which numbers belong in a weekly support report?

Ticket volume, first response time, customer satisfaction and the open backlog are enough for most small teams. Add the top few topics customers wrote about, since those point at what to fix.

Why compare with last week?

A number alone says little. Seeing that volume is up a fifth or that replies got an hour faster tells the reader whether to act. Enter 0 for last week to leave the comparison out.

Is up always better?

No. More tickets or a slower first response is worse, and a higher CSAT is better. The report labels each change that way so nobody has to work it out.

Who should get the report?

Anyone who can change what causes tickets: the founder, the product lead and the support team. Keep it short enough to read in a minute.

Is anything I type saved?

No. The report is built in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
