Ticket subject theme finder: find what customers write about most
Paste your ticket subjects, one per line, and see which words and phrases recur most. Use the result to choose tags, articles and saved replies.
Subjects

- invoice · 2 subjects · 25%
- password · 2 subjects · 25%
- refund · 2 subjects · 25%
- reset · 2 subjects · 25%
Turn the top themes into tags and a help center article each. Words that recur most are where a saved reply or an article saves the most time.
Questions
What does the theme finder do?
It counts the words and two-word phrases that recur across your ticket subjects and ranks them by the share of subjects they appear in.
How do I get a list of ticket subjects?
Export the last few weeks of tickets from your help desk or inbox and copy the subject column, one subject per line. A few hundred is plenty.
What should I do with the themes?
Make the top ones into tags, write a help center article for each, and save a reply for the ones that need a person.
Why are some words missing?
Very common words such as the and please are skipped, and a word must appear in at least two subjects to count as a theme.
Is my data stored anywhere?
No. The count runs in your browser and nothing is sent to a server.
